iGS-221 can operate the intake-exhaust fan(s) cyclically to replenish the garden's atmosphere in oxygen as it is needed for the plants and for a safe CO₂ combustion generator operation

When a CO₂ combustion generator (propane or natural gas) is used to raise the CO₂ level, ventilation for at least 2 to 5 minutes is mandatory to replenish the oxygen supply required by the generator's combustion. Insufficient oxygen supply in the garden's atmosphere provokes production of carbon monoxyde, toxic to humans, and ethylen, toxic to plants: often seen as poisoned plants leaves roll into itself.

The new iGS-221 "complete controller" is getting a new software version 1.29. iGS-221 ventilation control functionnalities are vastly improved

The new software 1.29:

1. Allows to adjust the hourly cyclic ventilation from 0 to 30 minutes;

2. Allows to set the ventilation (fan) to start in case of abnormally high temperature

3. Allows to set the ventilation (fan) to start in case of abnormally high relative humidity.

4. Now allows to control temperature and humidity in a cold climate using the ventilation instead of an air conditioner and a dehumidifier.

Improvements 2 and 3 should provide for emergency in case the AC unit or the dehumidifier is temporarily out of order. That way the "Fan" outlet on the iGS-221 will be usable for manual emergency activation, for adjustable cyclic ventilation if needed, for emergency cooling or dehumidifying.
